Ethic Based Literature

This curriculum uses literature to foster Social Emotional Learning (SEL) through nine key themes: Identity (self-reflection), Compassion (understanding others), Justice (awareness of inequities), Inclusivity (proactive actions), Respect (empathy), Responsibility (dedication), Community (connection), Growth (initiative), and Resilience (flexibility). Students explore personal and interpersonal skills, developing self-awareness, empathy, accountability, and adaptability. Through discussions and activities, they learn to challenge biases, build relationships, and contribute positively to their communities. The program emphasizes the connection between ethical behavior and social engagement, guiding students to navigate challenges and opportunities with confidence, respect, and a commitment to equity and inclusion.
